Professor / Physician / Doctor of Medicine, Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer, Tohoku University
Engaged in research to elucidate the mechanisms of brain development and aging by creating a database using brain MRI images. He has interpreted and analyzed brain MRIs for over 160,000 people. His books include "Lifelong Healthy Brain" (Soleil Publishing) and "Recalling Brain: Important Habits for a Healthy Brain" (Seishun Publishing). As a member of the Foundation's scholarship selection committee, he will speak about ideas and practices for maintaining brain health throughout life, such as travel and nostalgia, along with the Foundation's aspirations.
