Shimada Group Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director: Shigenari Shimada) has renewed and released the recruit site for the entire group. The design has been revamped so that the Shimada Group's message reaches job seekers more directly.

Features of Shimada Group's New Recruit Site

Catchphrase is "Be a Hentai (Metamorphose)."

"Hentai" means transforming one's form, such as a caterpillar becoming a chrysalis and then a butterfly. Shimada Group, which started as a rice shop, has continuously "metamorphosed" according to the times and society, and currently operates many businesses. Converting it into katakana to expand the imagination, it embodies the desire for every single employee to continue growing. We have adopted a writing style that appeals with short sentences so that the strong sentiment can be felt at a glance.

Intuitive design using animation

6 types of typefaces are used.

On the top page, we adopted an animation where the catchphrase changes into various typefaces to intuitively express the image of "metamorphosis." As a company that values "fun" in work, playful designs are incorporated everywhere.

Photos of employees brimming with individuality

For the main visuals, we featured employees from various divisions who "metamorphose" themselves through practical work. By adopting close-up monochrome photos, which is rare for a recruitment site, we produced a strong impact. The employees' free poses and expressions cherish "their true selves" that do not fit into conventional molds, conveying a corporate culture full of individuality.

Background of the Renewal

Amid drastic changes in social conditions and serious labor shortages, we asked ourselves again, "What message will resonate with job seekers now?" and "What are our strengths?" As a result, we renewed the recruitment site to directly deliver our corporate attitude of constantly changing beyond imagination to create the future. The goal with the new site is to demonstrate positive synergy internally as well, such as employees being stimulated and enhancing their ability to broadcast information.
