[Sales Start for FY2026] “Worker Monitoring System DecoBull” Prevents Industrial Accidents and Supports Early Detection in Emergencies

Shimabun Corporation is pleased to announce the start of sales for the 2026 fiscal year version of its worker monitoring system, DecoBull.

With the revision of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, which came into effect in June 2025, employers are now obligated to implement measures to prevent heatstroke. In response, workplaces are demanding more objective and effective safety management. Due to a significant increase in demand for summer safety measures, last year's sales volume was completely sold out.

This system detects changes in physical condition based on vital data and includes a notification function that immediately shares information with the individual, grouped workers, and supervisors. As a worker monitoring solution suitable for complying with the revised law, sales for the 2026 fiscal year have now commenced.

■ What is the Worker Monitoring System DecoBull?

DecoBull is a system that supports the reduction of severe injury risks and helps improve safety management levels by acquiring and analyzing environmental and vital information in real-time using a “communication module attached to a helmet or light work cap” and a “vital sensor worn on the wrist or forehead.” It immediately notifies the individual, managers, and grouped workers of any abnormalities.

Functions

(1) Detects changes in physical condition

　　　・Acquires vital data from sensors placed on the forehead or wrist, and determines changes in physical condition through two methods: individual threshold judgment for each item (pulse, skin temperature) and AI judgment.

(2) Detects falls and tumbles

　　　・Detects falls and tumbles using an acceleration sensor.

(3) Equipped with a help call function

　　　・Workers can self-report poor physical condition by long-pressing the help button on the main unit.

　　　・It is also possible to call for help for accidents not detected by the system, such as being caught, by pressing the help button.

(4) Calculates estimated WBGT (heat stress index) from temperature and humidity

　　　・Acquires environmental data and notifies supervisors if the estimated WBGT exceeds a set value.

　　　・The calculated estimated WBGT is also factored into the physical condition change judgment.

(5) Notifies the individual, supervisors, and registered workers when an abnormality occurs

　　　・The vital sensor vibrates to alert the individual and grouped workers.

　　　・Supervisors receive a pop-up notification on a web screen and an email to their registered email address (PC/smartphone), enabling prompt response.

■ June 2025 "Mandatory Heatstroke Prevention Measures" and Workplace Challenges

With the revision of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, which came into effect in June 2025, employers are now obligated to implement measures to prevent heatstroke. In response, all workplaces, including manufacturing, construction, logistics, and infrastructure inspection sites, face the urgent challenge of improving working environments and "objectively grasping workers' health conditions."

It provides a mechanism for colleagues in the workplace to support each other, not just a tool for "management."

1. Real-time notification to grouped workers (realizing mutual assistance)

　When vital data exceeds a certain threshold, an alert is immediately sent not only to remote managers but also to the devices of colleagues within the same group. This builds a safety system where the nearest worker can notice an abnormality and take initial action.

2. Web screen and E-mail notification to supervisors (reliable grasp) Simultaneously with a pop-up notification on the web screen, an email is sent to the registered email address (PC/smartphone). This allows supervisors in vast workplaces or at different locations to instantly grasp the situation and take appropriate action, no matter where they are.

3. Judgment of physical condition changes based on objective data

　It analyzes "skin temperature and pulse increase" and "physical condition changes using AI" with a unique algorithm to make judgments. By issuing alerts before the individual is aware, it supports the promotion of effective breaks and hydration.

4. Monitoring of solitary work and rapid location identification

　The GPS function helps identify the location in case of an emergency, supporting early detection.
