Izu Granvillage Glamping to Open Exclusive Dog-Friendly Room 'Dog Site' on July 18, 2026

Izu Granvillage Glamping (located in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture), an official hotel of the Izu Shaboten Zoo Group, will open a dedicated room 'Dog site' where guests can stay with their dogs on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Prior to this, accommodation reservations will be accepted starting Thursday, June 11.

This guest room features a fully private dog run, providing a luxurious space where dogs can run around to their heart's content without worrying about other guests. In the evening, guests can spend a special time gazing at the starry sky with their dogs around a campfire. Additionally, high-quality pet-exclusive amenities such as diapers, pee pads, paw-wiping towels, food bowls, and deodorant sprays are provided so guests can arrive empty-handed. This minimizes travel luggage and supports a comfortable stay. The dedicated room was planned with the desire for guests to 'enjoy the outdoors more freely and luxuriously with your dogs, who are members of the family.' It offers a time to deepen the bond with dogs away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Reservations are available for small to medium-sized dogs.

Furthermore, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from 'Izu Granpal Park,' making it an ideal base for leisure. 'Izu Kogen Granillumi,' which won first place nationally in the illumination event category and excellent technology award at the 'International Illumination Award 2025,' is also a pet-friendly illumination facility.
