Integrated Report 2026 Published – Featuring Key Initiatives to Expand the Potential of Wood for Society and the Future –

Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd. (President: Toshiro Mitsuyoshi, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) announced on June 30 that it has published its "Integrated Report 2026" on its website, summarizing the Group's initiatives for medium- to long-term value creation from both financial and non-financial perspectives.

The Integrated Report is published annually to communicate the company's annual performance and initiatives for improving corporate value over the medium to long term to stakeholders, including shareholders and investors, and to foster further dialogue.

This Integrated Report clarifies the value creation through Sumitomo Forestry's value chain, the "Wood Cycle," and organizes our thinking. Based on the progress of the medium-term management plan "Mission TREEING 2030 Phase 2," key initiatives to expand the potential of wood for society and the future are introduced as a "Special Feature" along with specific activities. To show the connection between business activities in each segment and value creation, we have clarified the "Business Model" and included examples of growth strategies and their results as "Zoom In (Challenges Taken)." In the ESG field, we have further expanded our disclosure of information, such as initiatives to quantitatively grasp contributions to nature positivity, in order to realize "Further Integration of Business and ESG."

The Sumitomo Forestry Group operates globally with "wood" as its core, encompassing forest management, manufacturing and distribution of timber and building materials, contracting for detached houses and medium- to large-scale wooden buildings, real estate development, and wood biomass power generation. In its long-term vision "Mission TREEING 2030" through 2030, Sumitomo Forestry aims to increase CO2 absorption by forests by operating its value chain, the "Wood Cycle," and to contribute to the decarbonization of not only the company but also society as a whole by fixing carbon over the long term through the widespread use of wooden buildings.
