Providing Grants to Japanese Students Studying at the University of Zurich Summer School: Supporting the No. 1 Blockchain Education in Europe for the 7th Consecutive Year

SEYMOUR INSTITUTE Co., Ltd., a luxury strategy think tank specializing in premium financial services and hospitality (Representative: Makoto Ota; Headquarters: Hiroo, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), will provide a grant to one Japanese student as an industry-academia sponsor for the three-week international summer school 'Deep Dive into Blockchain 2026' organized by the University of Zurich Blockchain Center (Director: Prof. Claudio J. Tessone).

Since the summer school began in 2020, Prof. Tessone and SEYMOUR have cooperated in industry-academia collaboration in blockchain between Switzerland and Japan. Including this year, SEYMOUR has provided grants to a total of eight students from institutions such as Waseda University, Keio University, Doshisha University, Kansai University, Osaka University, Akita International University, and Yamaguchi University to study at the school.

Deep Dive into Blockchain 2026 In this three-week program, students gain deep insights from experts into the three foundations of blockchain systems: 'Technology,' 'Economy,' and 'Law.' They also explore emerging application fields such as forensics and data analysis. The University of Zurich is ranked 1st in Europe and 3rd in the world among educational institutions engaging in blockchain education.
