ClipLine Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hayato Takahashi; hereinafter "the Company"), which provides "ABILI" to unleash the potential of the service industry, announced that Skylark Restaurants Co., Ltd. (Musashino City, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Naoshi Nakajima; hereinafter "Skylark Restaurants") has implemented "ABILI Pal," an AI agent for the service industry workplace, in approximately 2,600 stores nationwide. By instantly providing necessary knowledge and answers from a vast amount of pre-loaded manual videos and PDF documents, it aims to resolve on-site issues, improve service quality, and reduce the training burden.
■ Background
Skylark Restaurants, which operates approximately 2,600 stores nationwide and employs about 100,000 people, considers "standardization of operations"—providing high-quality customer experiences in every store across the country—to be the source of its strong brand value. However, as services diversify and the workforce becomes more diverse, creating an environment where on-site employees (hereinafter "crew") can instantly access necessary information, including manuals, has become a critical challenge. With a sincere desire to "save as many crew members as possible who are struggling on the front lines" and to balance "maintaining and improving service quality" across an overwhelming business scale, Skylark decided to implement "ABILI Pal," an AI agent that supports each individual crew member.
■ Trial Results and Mechanism
From January to February 2026, a trial was conducted in 437 stores. ABILI Pal uses internal know-how accumulated in "ABILI Clip," a video-based management service already in use, as its information source. Since the audio of registered videos is pre-transcribed into text, unlike general AI, it can provide answers based entirely on the company's own manuals. This allows crew members to simply ask questions in everyday language, such as "Can I wear earrings during work?" or "How do I clean the coffee machine?" and instantly receive appropriate summaries and links to relevant videos without the hassle of searching for videos.
An anonymous survey during the trial showed that the response "answers are very easy to understand" improved by 14 points from the first to the second round, confirming a significant contribution to improving crew members' self-resolution capabilities.

■ "ABILI Pal" Information Reference Rules and Features
ABILI Pal generates answers by primarily referencing content within "ABILI Clip," the company's dedicated knowledge base (automatic transcription data from videos, text information from PDFs, titles, and descriptions). Only when relevant information is not found in the original data does it supplement with general knowledge.
・Advanced Security and Access Control
Referable information is controlled according to user attributes, generating appropriate answers. Restrictions are also in place to prevent answering questions unrelated to work or sensitive information such as personnel and salary, creating an environment where headquarters can operate with peace of mind.
・Multilingual Support for Diverse Talent
It supports numerous languages including English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, and Nepali. Answers are provided directly in the language of the question, breaking down language barriers and supporting smooth job acquisition.
・Decisive Difference from Traditional "Search Functions"
While traditional keyword searches merely list relevant videos, ABILI Pal summarizes information within videos and provides an initial text answer. This allows users to instantly grasp only the information they need on the spot, and also provides links to the videos that served as the basis for the answer, allowing them to check detailed procedures in videos if necessary.
