Serverworks Expands Official Training to Learn Practical AWS Operations and Data Analytics Infrastructure Construction

Serverworks Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ryo Oishi; hereinafter: Serverworks), an AWS Premier Tier Service Partner of Amazon Web Services (hereinafter: AWS), announced that it will begin offering two official AWS training courses to develop practical skills in AWS operations and data analytics infrastructure construction. In conjunction with this, a campaign will be implemented to provide participants with a one-month free paid license for AWS's on-demand learning material, "AWS Skill Builder."

Background: Increasing demand for in-house "operations" and "analytics" due to cloud utilization maturity

As companies' utilization of AWS matures, there is a growing need for autonomous operation of constructed systems and advanced data utilization.

Serverworks has supported companies from AWS environment design to operation, and has received requests from customers such as "We want to operate our environment safely and stably in-house" and "We want to maintain our own data analytics infrastructure to enable quick business decisions."

To support companies in internalizing their systems and improving the skills of their personnel, we have added two important courses that are directly applicable to practical work. Furthermore, we are launching a unique campaign to support continuous learning after completing the courses.

Newly launched official AWS training courses

Official AWS training is a highly reliable education program provided by AWS training partners certified by AWS and partner trainers who have passed AWS's trainer standards. The two newly added courses aim to acquire practical skills not only through theory but also through hands-on experience.

Cloud Operations on AWS

Overview: This is a 3-day training course for systematically learning AWS environment operation management.

Features: It supports learning for obtaining the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification and acquiring operational skills on-site. Participants can learn the common language and technologies necessary when taking over and operating systems developed by vendors in-house.

Overview: This is a 1-day intensive training course for learning how to build, protect, and optimize data lakes (large-scale data storage and analysis infrastructure) on AWS.

Building data lakes by combining AWS services such as Amazon S3

Setting fine-grained access permissions and security management

Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL processing) data using AWS Glue

About the AWS Skill Builder Paid License Provision Campaign

In conjunction with the launch of the new courses, Serverworks will implement the "AWS Skill Builder Paid License Provision Campaign" as a mechanism for participants to continue learning autonomously even after the courses end. AWS Skill Builder is an online learning platform where beginners to experienced developers can acquire cloud skills at their own pace. Through this campaign, we aim to support the retention of knowledge gained from training and continuous learning of the latest technologies, contributing to the sustainable development of cloud talent within companies.

Target period:

June 1 to July 31, 2026 (2 months)

Eligibility:

Corporations that have taken official training (※) held by Serverworks during the above period

Content provided:

A 30-day valid license will be granted to the participant's Skill Builder ID, starting from the last day of training as day 1.
