Demonstration Experiment of Autonomous Security Robot "SQ-2" Begins at Duo Kobe

Kobe Chikagai Co., Ltd. (President: Akira Yamamura), TC Shinko Real Estate Service Co., Ltd. (President: Katsunori Matsumura), and SEQSENSE Inc. (President: Soichiro Nakamura) will conduct a demonstration experiment of a security robot at "Duo Kobe."

This experiment explores the use of autonomous mobile robots for security as a solution to various social issues, such as the declining birthrate, aging population, and future labor shortages, as well as a means to address the shortage of security personnel and improve working environments.

【Verification Content】 - Verification of stationary monitoring operations. - Verification of patrol monitoring and inspection operations via autonomous movement. - Verification of guidance operations, including security alerts, warnings, and event information, using voice announcements and electronic display board functions.

About the SEQSENSE Inc. Autonomous Security Robot "SQ-2" Equipped with the independently developed 3D LiDAR "SQ LiDAR," this robot is capable of detailed 3D mapping, motion detection, and environmental change detection. It contributes to reducing facility management costs by substituting for security tasks such as stationary guarding, patrolling, and visitor assistance. Additionally, it can be kept up-to-date through remote updates.
