Senju Sprinkler Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Adachi-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masaaki Ueno; hereinafter 'the Company'), a manufacturer and seller of fire suppression sprinkler heads and related products, announces that it is advancing efforts toward the realization of a 'Next-Generation Sprinkler DX Factory Toward Digital Twin' at its Maromori Factory (Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture) in collaboration with INDUSTRIAL-X Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Tomonori Yako; hereinafter 'INDUSTRIAL-X'), a company that supports corporate transformation through data-driven management. Today, on Thursday, March 26, a 'Factory DX Presentation Event' was held at our Maromori Factory.

◆ Background of the 'Next-Generation DX Factory Toward Digital Twin' Initiative
In 2025, the Company renewed its corporate logo to clearly demonstrate its commitment to further enhancing brand value and pursuing technological innovation. In conjunction with this, to improve factory productivity, the Company introduced the concept of 'Digital Twin'—synchronizing the real and digital worlds to create a better reality—and adopted the concept of SP-X (Sprinkler Transformation: transforming the sprinkler industry toward the next generation) to pursue DX (Digital Transformation) and SX (Sustainable Transformation).
Since July 2025, the Company and INDUSTRIAL-X have been jointly advancing a project aimed at transitioning from 'human-based know-how'—the intuition, techniques, and experience that have long been valued on the sprinkler manufacturing floor at Maromori Factory—to 'data-driven knowledge' utilizing accumulated data and AI-based analysis and simulation.
Today, on Thursday, March 26, with the attendance of Ichinoseki Mayor Yoshihito Sato at the Maromori Factory, a 'Factory DX Presentation Event' was held for invited media, introducing the progress made to date and providing a tour of the actual factory floor.
◆ Key Components of the Joint Project
1. Visualization of Operations via Digital Platform
At the Maromori Factory, a data platform has been built that integrates and visualizes actual human work activity alongside equipment operation data. This enables on-site confirmation of operational efficiency and data-based analysis, while also enabling real-time cost management based on actual results.
2. Transformation to 'Smart Working'
Through the adoption of tablets and data integration across multiple systems, the Company is transforming on-site operations that tend to rely heavily on paper-based forms into smarter workflows. Through this, the Company works to dispel the traditional '3K' (Kitsui/Kitanai/Kiken: demanding, dirty, dangerous) image and create an attractive workplace where young workers want to stay.
3. Toward Advanced Production Management and Future Forecasting
Going forward, the Company plans to expand the data platform's functionality to establish a company-wide common data infrastructure and KPI dashboard, aiming to build an even more advanced, end-to-end order-to-production-to-inventory management system at the SKU level, along with high-precision cost management and AI-powered forecasting systems. The Company will continue its efforts toward realizing a next-generation factory.
◆ Impact on Regional Industry and Outlook
One of the goals of this project is also to broadcast it nationwide as a model case for manufacturing DX in Ichinoseki City. By realizing a cutting-edge smart factory environment locally, the Company aims to contribute to the promotion of regional employment and...
