The Importance of Utilizing Digital Advertising in Local Governments
In 2020, total internet advertising expenditure surpassed the combined total of the four traditional mass media (TV, radio, newspapers, magazines) and continues to grow. As digital becomes the mainstream of information distribution in Japan, not limited to advertising, and its importance accelerates further, it is urgently necessary for local governments to utilize digital tools for information dissemination and expanding the related population.

In a survey from a seminar held by sembear LLC the year before last, the percentage of local governments answering 'interested in implementing digital marketing' was close to 90%, but currently, the percentage actually implementing it remains at less than 20%.

Challenges of Digital Advertising in Local Governments
