Announcement Regarding New Company Name

Sumitomo Densetsu Co., Ltd. announced that it will change its company name to "Semlinks Co., Ltd." on October 1, 2026. *Premised on the resolution of a partial amendment to the articles of incorporation at the ordinary general meeting of shareholders New Company Name: Semlinks Co., Ltd. (English name: SEMLINKS CO., LTD.) Our company has been operating as "Sumitomo Densetsu Co., Ltd.," primarily involved in electrical equipment construction and various social infrastructure projects. However, with our integration into the Daiwa House Group in March 2026, we have decided to change our company name to expand our future business domains and more clearly communicate our corporate vision.

The new company name "Semlinks" embodies the desire to "continue creating value by 'connecting' with technology and human power, including electrical and mechanical construction." Under this new name, as a member of the Daiwa House Group, we will leverage our accumulated strengths to further improve services and create new value.

Additionally, today we have placed a newspaper advertisement conveying the thoughts behind our new company name (please refer to the images below). The logo mark is currently under consideration and will be announced again at a later date.
