Selection and Variation Inc., an organizational and HR consulting firm (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Nishi-ku, Osaka, and Nishi-ku, Nagoya / Representative Director and President: Yoshihiro Hirayasu / URL: https://sele-vari.co.jp/) announces that it will hold a seminar titled "DX, AI, New Business: Can People Truly Grow Under the Current Systems?" Perspectives on HR Systems and Operations Required in an Era of Transformation" on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 12:10 to 12:45 JST.
Outline
The business environment has changed dramatically in recent years. With the advancement of AI implementation, the capabilities required, evaluation criteria, and compensation methods differ significantly between personnel responsible for "standardized operations" in existing businesses and those responsible for new domains, transformation, and new businesses.
"We want to hire DX talent," "We want to develop talent capable of leading new businesses," "We want to be an organization that utilizes AI"—when you look around your company with these thoughts, you might find that suitable talent is limited. Employees who were previously evaluated as "excellent" may not achieve results in new challenges. Resources cannot be allocated outside of existing businesses. Have you ever felt such a sense of incongruity?
This is because the HR system itself has not kept up with the era of change. If the design continues to highly evaluate those who achieved results in existing businesses, a structural misalignment will arise where "talent capable of transformation does not grow, cannot be recruited, or leaves," leading to stagnation not only in new businesses but also in DX and AI utilization in existing businesses.
In this seminar, based on our experience in HR system design and operation support, including new business launch support, we will visualize the "structure where HR cannot keep up with business changes" and provide concrete measures to redesign talent portfolios, grades/evaluations/compensation, and organizational culture into a "transformation-responsive type."
This content is beneficial not only for companies with new businesses but also for all companies that want to promote structural reforms in existing businesses, AI utilization, and the development of next-generation management talent.
