SEKIYA RESORT (Headquarters: Beppu City, Oita Prefecture) held an all-company kickoff meeting on June 1, 2026, to mark the start of its 62nd term.

In this meeting, in addition to reviewing the 61st term and sharing future prospects, the company announced newly formulated philosophies and values. It was an opportunity to reaffirm the direction the entire company is aiming for, and to enhance organizational unity by presenting letters of gratitude to part-time and temporary staff who support daily facility operations, as well as holding employee awards.

Towards the Start of the 62nd Term

SEKIYA RESORT holds a kickoff meeting for all employees once every six months.

At this kickoff, the company reviewed the initiatives and achievements of the 61st term, and President Taichiro Hayashi presented the outlook for the 62nd term and beyond.

All employees shared the direction to continue providing better stay experiences for customers.

Sharing Gratitude and Praise at the Social Gathering

After the kickoff meeting, a social gathering was held, providing a venue for interaction across departments and facilities.

At the social gathering, employees presented letters of gratitude to the part-time and temporary staff who support daily facility operations. The support of many staff members is essential to provide comfortable stays for customers. By putting into words the gratitude that is rarely expressed in daily life, it was a time to once again feel the importance of each other's presence.

Additionally, an award ceremony was held for employees who excelled during the 61st term.

The awards were given in five categories: "Rookie of the Year Award," "Award for Fostering a Culture of Trust and Growth," "Award for Preserving a Culture of Challenge," "Mission Embodiment Award," and "MVP." Employees who demonstrated outstanding results and actions in their respective fields were recognized.

The Rookie of the Year Award was given to employees who showed remarkable growth during the term. The "Award for Fostering a Culture of Trust and Growth" honored employees who contributed to organizational growth while building trusting relationships with those around them. The "Award for Preserving a Culture of Challenge" recognized employees who embodied new initiatives and challenges.
