●What is "Tori no Trivia"?

This book introduces the "surprising true faces" of wild birds that we often overlook, such as common sparrows, crows, Japanese white-eyes, brown-eared bulbuls, and pigeons, in a fast-paced format with 4-panel manga and text.

Supervised and written by ornithologist Kazuto Kawakami, known for works such as "Even Though I'm an Ornithologist, Don't Think I Like Birds" (Shinchosha). The 4-panel manga is by Yuka Matsuda, a manga artist who has created many bird-themed manga such as "Jibeta Gurashi" (Libre Publishing) and "Kyō no Sū" (Futabasha). Katsura Mikami and Takayoshi Kawashima also participated in writing. Published in 2018, it became a huge hit, selling over 70,000 copies, and was widely praised as "simply interesting," "I lose track of time reading it," and "my life has become richer with all the things I didn't know."
