Seiko Watch Corporation (Chairman & CEO & CCO: Shinji Hattori, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will release four new models from the <Seiko 5 Sports> Field series on Friday, June 5th. These models are equipped with a rotating simple compass bezel and Lumibrite-coated hands and Arabic numeral indexes, offering outstanding visibility in the dark. The suggested retail price ranges from 52,800 yen to 56,100 yen (including tax).

Adopts Long-Awaited Lumibrite Arabic Numeral Indexes for Dark Environments
These new models upgrade the popular Field series, which is suitable for a wide range of scenarios from outdoor leisure to daily use, in terms of both functionality and design. A new case diameter of 41mm, not found in current Seiko 5 Sports models, has been adopted, expanding the range of size choices.
The dial features Arabic numeral indexes, which are highly regarded in current models, with Lumibrite applied to the numerals as well. The 11 points on the dial and the hour, minute, and second hands glow in the dark, providing excellent visibility. Furthermore, the scale on the outer circumference of the dial has a circular finish, giving it a high-quality texture.
The rotating simple compass bezel, often adopted in past archive models, is included. The sides of the bezel feature a lighter cut, providing both operability and design appropriate for a field watch.
For the Northern Hemisphere (left diagram), keep the watch horizontal and point the hour hand towards the sun. Align the "S" on the simple compass bezel halfway between the hour hand and the 12 o'clock position. The direction indicated by the simple compass will be your current orientation. For the Southern Hemisphere (right diagram), keep the watch horizontal and point the 12 o'clock position towards the sun. Align the "N" on the simple compass bezel halfway between the hour hand and the 12 o'clock position. The direction indicated by the simple compass will be your current orientation.

HDB006J and HDB007J adopt a new stainless steel metal bracelet. HDB008J and HDB009J feature khaki green and brown dials, respectively, paired with matching nylon straps, enhancing the field watch aesthetic.
