Seibu Landscape Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, President: Takumi Ogawa), a company specializing in the Seibu Group's landscaping and green space business, established Seibu Agri Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, Representative Director: Tomomi Seino) in April 2020 as the Seibu Group's first new company in the agricultural field and its subsidiary.

Utilizing the plant cultivation management technology cultivated through its landscaping business and the management and operation know-how from parks, the company is engaged in agricultural business with the aim of effectively utilizing land owned by the Seibu Group through farming.

In a business area of approximately 1.7 ha in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, a new business model called "solar sharing" is being implemented as a joint project with Mitsubishi HC Capital Energy Co., Ltd., cultivating blueberries and grapes under a solar power generation system. The tourist farm "Seibu Agri Park Tokorozawa," where visitors can enjoy blueberry picking experiences, will grand open on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

About "Seibu Agri Park Tokorozawa"

Seibu Agri Co., Ltd., the Seibu Group's first agricultural company, received certification as an agricultural land ownership eligible corporation and has been engaged in farming since fiscal year 2021 using a part of the Seibu Group's land in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, which had been fallow for over 40 years. From June 2026, "Seibu Agri Park Tokorozawa" will grand open as a tourist farm where local residents can enjoy harvesting experiences and programs.

"Seibu Agri Park Tokorozawa" is engaged in "solar sharing," a new agricultural system that cultivates blueberries and grapes under solar power generation panels. The generated electricity is supplied to public facilities in the city through Tokorozawa Mirai Denryoku, contributing to the realization of a decarbonized society and local production for local consumption of electricity in Tokorozawa City.

In addition, the park also raises two goats that help with weeding and bees that assist with fruit tree pollination, planning to hold programs where visitors can learn about plants and living things in a fun way, and sell seasonal produce.

"Blueberry Picking & All-You-Can-Eat" Plan (Advance Reservation Required)

This is an experience that adults and children alike can enjoy, picking seasonal blueberries themselves and comparing their tastes. The farm cultivates 25 varieties and 1,100 bushes of blueberries, allowing visitors to compare various varieties depending on the season, from early-ripening varieties that start bearing fruit in June to late-ripening varieties that bear fruit in August.

Our farm cultivates 25 varieties and 1,100 bushes of blueberries. You can enjoy harvesting various varieties depending on the season, from early-ripening varieties that start bearing fruit in June to late-ripening varieties that bear fruit in August. Since the color, size, and taste vary depending on the variety, please compare them and find your favorite blueberries.

Southern Highbush Type
Suitable for warm climates, this variety has low acidity and strong sweetness. It can be harvested from June to mid-July.

Northern Highbush Type
Originating from northern regions, this variety has low acidity and strong sweetness. It is characterized by large fruits, including varieties that can grow to the size of a 500-yen coin. Many varieties can be harvested in June, but some can be enjoyed until mid-July.
