Formed in 2005 mainly by college soccer circle peers. The team name "Criacao" means "creation" in Portuguese. It joined the Tokyo League 4th Division in 2009. In 2018, it was renamed "Criacao Shinjuku" to express its determination to walk with Shinjuku, its base. It became the representative team of the Shinjuku City Football Association the following year. In 2020, it concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with Shinjuku Ward. In 2021, it was promoted to the JFL (Japan Football League). Since then, it has held official matches at the Japan National Stadium every year, mobilizing 16,755 people in 2025, the highest in the JFL. It aims to be the best club in the world.
