secondz digital Inc. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, CEO: Tatsuya Itai, hereinafter "secondz digital") has conducted an "AI Reference Source Site Survey" using its AI search optimization platform "secondz Agentsense" (hereinafter "Agentsense") to analyze trends in external sites that are frequently referenced by AI search within the human resources and recruitment industry.
This survey is the second in a series of industry-specific surveys, following the one conducted for the "E-commerce and Mail Order Industry." The results of the previous survey for the E-commerce and Mail Order Industry can be found here: https://prtimes.jp/main/html/rd/p/000000019.000079006.html
We will analyze the domains most frequently referenced during the answer generation process of ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, and Copilot, and release the Top 30 major reference sites in the human resources and recruitment industry.
This will provide insights into the trends of sites that are likely to be referenced by AI search, serving as material for considering which media to disseminate information through and which external sites to strengthen coverage on. We plan to expand the scope to other industries in the future and continuously share industry-specific trends.
Background of the Survey In recent years, as opportunities to gather information through tools like ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, and Copilot increase, the importance of understanding how companies and services are understood and explained based on external information has grown. Beyond traditional search rankings, the information AI references and the context in which it constructs answers are increasingly influencing brand perception and comparative consideration.
Furthermore, the information sources referenced by AI are not limited to a company's own website. The perception of companies and services can be shaped by a combination of multiple external sites, including each company's owned media, advertising/partner media, comparison articles, and industry explanation media. Organizing the sites frequently referenced by each industry is effective for AEO (AI Engine Optimization) measures and designing information dissemination strategies for the AI search era.
Against this backdrop, secondz digital launched industry-specific AI reference source site surveys using Agentsense, which analyzes AI search results from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Copilot, etc., and automatically suggests improvements. This second installment aggregates the major domains in the human resources and recruitment industry.

Trends Observed from the Survey Results This survey revealed that in the "Human Resources and Recruitment Industry," AI references information sources not only from company official websites but also widely across owned media, advertising/partner media, comparison articles, and career-related media.
This indicates that for AEO measures, simply optimizing one's own website is insufficient; it is also crucial to understand what information circulates on external sites and in what context it is discussed. To refine visibility in AI search, a strategy that includes not only disseminating primary information but also securing third-party media placements, preparing comparative information, and accumulating external explanatory articles is required.
Particularly in the human resources and recruitment industry, the proportion of owned media and advertising/partner media is high, suggesting that AI references not only official information but also peripheral information including comparisons, evaluations, and career contexts. For companies, this provides material for considering which media to disseminate information through and which external sites to strengthen coverage on. ■ Main Departments Utilizing These Findings Marketing Department For understanding brand perception and comparative consideration in AI search, and identifying which external sites are frequently referenced.
Public Relations/PR Department To confirm how press releases and third-party media placements contribute to AI references.
Business Departments To grasp the circulation status of external information regarding job openings, recruitment support services, and career support services, and their visibility in comparison and reputation contexts.
Customer Success/Sales Departments To understand how case studies, support achievements, reviews, and comparison articles are referenced on AI.
Corporate Planning/New Business Departments To understand competitor comparisons, information circulation structures within the market, and major reference sites.
Analysis and Features of Agentsense
"Agentsense," provided by secondz digital, visualizes how companies and services are understood and which external sites are used as reference sources in AI searches by ChatGPT, Google AI, and Copilot. It makes it easy to grasp the differences in visibility, including those of competitors, and serves as material for considering AI search optimization.
Recently, we have released the "Improvement Agent Function," which supports prioritizing improvements and generating insights, and the "Global Research Agent Function," which supports research including overseas information. This makes it easier to not only understand visibility on AI but also to concretely consider directions for improvement for AEO measures.
For details on the "Improvement Agent Function" and "Global Research Agent Function," please refer to the following press releases: https://prtimes.jp/main/html/rd/p/000000017.000079006.html
