Radio NIKKEI's 'Frontline DX Frontier' Features JAL's Maintenance DX in June

Science Arts Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ryutaro Hiraoka) announced that the June broadcast of the Radio NIKKEI program 'Frontline DX Frontier' will feature the DX initiatives in the maintenance department of Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Mitsuko Tottori). Since its launch in May 2026, this segment has attracted attention from DX promoters and individual investors for its realistic content that delves into 'what actually changed on the front lines.' In the four-part series from the 5th to the 8th episodes starting June 9th, Yasuhisa Seki, who is in charge of overseas aircraft maintenance management at JAL, will be the guest to discuss DX initiatives in the maintenance department. Aircraft maintenance is a harsh environment requiring reliable information sharing amidst vast inspection items, aircraft model differences, and limited time. Ryutaro Hiraoka, CEO of Science Arts, which operates Buddycom, will explain scenarios requiring DX such as communication in noisy environments, history/text conversion, video sharing, and multilingual remote support, as well as the effects after implementation. Furthermore, the program will discuss the future of DX, including AI integration, hands-free operations, technical knowledge transfer, security enhancement, and future AI prospects. Through this segment, Science Arts aims to develop frontline DX into an industry-wide transformation rather than just individual corporate efforts.
