SBI VC Trade Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & Representative Director: Tomohiko Kondo; hereinafter "the Company"), a consolidated subsidiary of SBI Holdings, Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman, President & CEO: Yoshitaka Kitao) engaged in the crypto asset exchange business, has implemented "BIMI"*, an authentication technology that displays the Company's corporate logo on emails sent to customers, effective Monday, March 30, 2026. By implementing this technology, the Company aims to reduce the number of customers falling victim to phishing scams by enabling them to distinguish between emails sent by the Company and those impersonating the Company based on the presence or absence of the corporate logo.

* BIMI stands for "Brand Indicators for Message Identification." It is an email authentication technology that displays a company's brand logo within the mailbox for emails that have passed authentication protocols such as DMARC, as a measure against spoofing. DMARC is an advanced email authentication technology that verifies whether an email was legitimately sent from the sender domain displayed; BIMI works in conjunction with this technology to prove the legitimacy of the email.

In recent years, security threats from emails impersonating companies have been increasing. In particular, tactics that lure customers to phishing sites via emails impersonating financial institutions are becoming more sophisticated and frequent. It is difficult for customers to deal with these threats on their own, and it has become an urgent task for companies to implement certain countermeasures from the perspective of customer protection. Previously, the Company has strengthened its security measures by making two-step verification (two-factor authentication) mandatory as of September 3, 2025 (Wednesday), and by adding a new "email authentication" method in addition to conventional authentication methods.

As part of further security measures, we have now implemented "BIMI," which displays the corporate logo only on emails sent by the company on email services.

With this implementation, the Company's corporate logo will be displayed on official emails sent from the Company to customers*, allowing recipients to visually confirm the legitimacy of the sender. In addition to aiming to reduce phishing damage to customers, we also expect that this will make it easier for customers to receive important notices and communications from the Company, as the visibility of our emails will be enhanced.

There is no burden on customers, such as the need for new settings, for this implementation. We will continue to strengthen our security measures so that our customers can use our services with peace of mind.

* Applies to BIMI-compatible email clients.
