SBI MUSIC CIRCUS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Rakuho Otsuke, hereinafter referred to as 'the company') will present special colored lanterns as an Expo special project at the 'Senshu Beach Lantern Festival vol.7,' to be held on July 4 (Sat) and 5 (Sun), 2026, at SENNAN LONG PARK and Taruisa Sun Beach. This year, in addition to the traditional orange lanterns, special red and blue lanterns will make their debut.

The scenic seaside sunset will transform into a magical spectacle as countless lanterns ascend into the night sky. The special colored lanterns, evoking memories of the Expo year, will illuminate the night sky of Senan.

A more special experience with three selectable lantern colors

This year, in addition to the traditional orange lanterns, special red and blue lanterns will be introduced. Visitors can choose their preferred color and launch their wishes into the night sky.

The venue illuminated by the special colored lanterns will become a photogenic space available only this summer. From the seaside sunset to the magical night of ascending lanterns, experience the uniquely moving atmosphere of the Senshu Beach Lantern Festival.

Activities

We offer numerous popular attractions for children, including a traditional festival area and giant inflatable balloon play equipment.

Additionally, this year marks the first appearance of a 'Treasure Hunt' and a 'Water Gun Battle'.

In the Treasure Hunt, participants can enjoy the excitement of finding hidden 'treasures' buried in the sand.

The Water Gun Battle is a uniquely summery special event where participants can get completely soaked and have a blast. (Adults can participate too.) Experience the lively area where families, from children to adults, can enjoy themselves while waiting for the lantern launch.

Performance Stage

Top-tier street performers from across Japan will deliver thrilling performances that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats and energize the entire venue.

We also plan stage performances by local groups, offering a chance to enjoy the unique charm of the region. Performances will be held twice—during the opening and in the evening—so be sure to watch.

Handmade Market

We will host a marine keychain workshop that visitors can easily join during event breaks.

Simple enough for anyone to make, it’s enjoyable for both children and adults. As lanterns rise into the night sky, handmade creations will add a special touch to your memories of the day.

Lantern-making volunteer recruitment

We are also recruiting volunteer staff to support lantern production and event operations.
