This event marks the rebirth of 'Senshu Yumehanabi,' which has been supported by the people of the Senshu region for 10 years, as the new brand 'SBI Maihanabi.'
■ What is SBI Maihanabi in Sakai Ouo Yoichi?
Under the theme of 'Regional Revitalization through the Creation of Tourism Resources in Senshu,' the community-based integrated fireworks festival 'SBI Maihanabi,' which is celebrating its 7th anniversary this year since its first holding in Sennan in 2017, will collaborate with 'Sakai Ouo Yoichi,' held annually at the end of July in Oohama Park, Sakai Ward, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. The fireworks display, a highlight content that concludes the Ouo Yoichi, will be upgraded and held as 'SBI Maihanabi in Sakai Ouo Yoichi.'
Sakai Ouo Yoichi is said to have started in the Kamakura period and boasts a history of approximately 700 years, making it a summer tradition in Sakai. The biggest highlight is the spectacular fish auction held at night. In addition, various night stalls and corporate PR booths are also set up, making it a historic festival closely integrated with local residents. The grand finale fireworks display will be held as SBI Maihanabi in Sakai Ouo Yoichi. Please come and experience the passionate night of Sakai.

The fireworks launched from the center of Sakai Old Port, which is surrounded in a U-shape, offer a surprisingly close and powerful performance from any seat.
