For 11 years since its establishment in 2015, the NPO SIS Academy has been working on integrating sports, education, and human resource development based in Shimane Prefecture.

Sports inherently should not rob people of their dreams or confidence. Not being chosen, not making the starting lineup, not winning. Such experiences unknowingly instill a sense of 'I can't do it' —— this reality still deeply roots in the field of youth sports. Furthermore, some people burn out, thinking 'I'm done with sports', after giving it their all. That is also a reality we must confront.
What SIS Academy aims for is the exact opposite.
We want more people to enjoy sports. There is no need to lose confidence, nor is there a need to be overly confident. Rather than fluctuating emotions by comparing oneself to others, one only needs to face a single question —— **Is the current me moving toward my dream? Am I getting closer? Or has the dream itself grown bigger than before?**
Using sports as an opportunity to **find** one's life dreams and confidence. A place to **expand** them. A reason to **challenge** oneself.
To achieve this, what we provide is not just techniques. **A special space, a special time, special companions** —— when these three align, people realize their own potential through sports. That is what has been constantly happening at SIS Academy's sites for 11 years.
