SBC Medical Group Holdings (Headquarters: California, USA; CEO: Yoshiyuki Aikawa; hereinafter "SBC") is pleased to announce that it has hosted two dermatologists from the Chulabhorn International College of Medicine (Thammasat University, hereinafter "CICM") in Bangkok, Thailand, for clinic inspections and academic exchange. This follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in November 2025 aimed at promoting academic collaboration and international exchange. This initiative marks the first step in an international partnership between CICM, a leading international medical educational institution in the ASEAN region, and SBC, which operates one of Japan's largest clinic networks, to integrate their respective expertise.

CICM is a premier international medical educational institution in the ASEAN region with a strong track record in both clinical and basic medical education and research. Its mission to cultivate medical professionals with an international perspective aligns with SBC's values of spreading safe and innovative medical care from Asia to the world, leading to the signing of the MOU in November 2025 to promote academic collaboration and international exchange in the fields of education and research. This visit was realized as part of the concrete actions agreed upon following the signing of the MOU. The visit by specialists from Thailand, who are driving the development of aesthetic medicine in Asia, demonstrates the growing international interest in SBC's medical standards and educational systems. The two visiting dermatologists engaged in exchanges with SBC specialists, including Dr. Ayaka Nishikawa, General Director of Dermatology at Shonan Beauty Clinic, focusing on the following: ・Observation of operations at Shonan Beauty Clinic and other facilities. ・Participation in physician training sessions supported by SBC. ・Discussions on treatment protocols and risk management for Asian skin types. Through this exchange, the "collaboration in education and research" outlined in the MOU has progressed steadily in terms of knowledge sharing and personnel exchange. SBC will continue to deepen international personnel exchanges and joint research, including ongoing collaboration with CICM, to incorporate the latest knowledge into the group and foster medical professionals with a global perspective. As a leading medical group in Asia, we remain committed to strengthening our global foundation for medical education and research, while striving for safety, transparency, and sustainable value creation.
