Kita Ward, Tokyo, and Satofull Launch Donation Drive to Enhance Exhibits at Akutagawa Ryunosuke Memorial Museum

Kita Ward, Tokyo, and Satofull Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroaki Fujii), the operator of the hometown tax donation portal site "Satofull," will begin accepting donations on July 1, 2026, through "Satofull Crowdfunding" for the project "Let's Enhance the Exhibits at the Akutagawa Ryunosuke Memorial Museum!" This initiative has been ongoing since June 2024, and this marks the fifth round of donation requests.

"Satofull Crowdfunding" is a crowdfunding-style hometown tax donation site that utilizes the hometown tax donation system to launch projects based on the intended use of donations and solicit contributions. Donors can select their donation destination based on the specific use of funds on "Satofull Crowdfunding," as well as post messages of support to the municipality and check the total amount of donations received at any time.

In the crowdfunding campaigns conducted since 2024, we have received over 300 donations totaling approximately 10 million yen (*). We sincerely thank everyone who has contributed. Your support will be used for the purchase of exhibit materials for the memorial museum and other purposes. A letter of appreciation will be sent to those who donate 10,000 yen or more. Additionally, donors of 50,000 yen or more who wish to do so will have a nameplate installed in the museum for a period of three years in principle (before opening, names will be posted on the Kita Ward website). We ask for your continued support and cooperation.

Both sites accept donations for municipal crowdfunding projects utilizing the hometown tax donation system, and they also collaborate to provide advisory services for project planning and support for article creation to municipalities.
