■ Message from Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture
Kureha Music Hall was originally built as a school facility for Kureha Municipal Elementary School. It was an elementary school with active music activities and holds many memories for its graduates. A seismic diagnosis conducted in fiscal year 2023 revealed that it did not meet standards, forcing its sudden closure. After seismic design, seismic reinforcement, and repair work, it finally reopened in April 2026 after more than two years of closure. With the involvement of many people, this place has gradually taken shape. We hope to continue creating its story together with everyone.
