Sapporo Holdings Ltd., under the Sapporo Group's DX policy and one of its mid-to-long-term growth strategies, 'Efficient Foundation (organizational reform for growth strategy execution),' will launch a new initiative called 'Work with AI' in June to maximize human value by utilizing AI and AI agents. Against the backdrop of a shrinking labor force, the traditional way of working where people handle all tasks is becoming unsustainable. On the other hand, the rapid evolution of generative AI and AI agents has created an environment where AI can replace or complement parts of work, making new business designs based on the division of roles between humans and AI possible. Amid these social changes, we are aiming not just for operational efficiency, but to create an environment where AI handles routine tasks, allowing people to focus on more creative and high-value work. Prior to the full-scale rollout, we conducted a verification from February to April this year using the AI agent 'WorkAI' from SIGNATE Inc. to visualize tasks and man-hours and identify AI-applicable areas. Having confirmed its usefulness in some headquarters departments, we will expand the scope to the entire corporate division starting in June, re-organizing the way we work while taking a cross-departmental view of operations.
