Under the Sapporo Group's DX policy (Note 1), Sapporo Holdings Ltd. will launch the "Business Architect Training" (Note 2) program for fiscal year 2026 starting in May, as a human resource development initiative to achieve corporate transformation and sustainable value creation through DX.

Since 2022, our company has initiated a DX/IT human resource development program (Note 3), and by 2023, we have trained 900 core DX/IT personnel. From 2024 onwards, we have been continuously working on developing core personnel from these foundational human resources to lead DX promotion.

The conventional DX/IT human resource development program focused on acquiring skills related to "innovative thinking not bound by existing conventions" and "data utilization." However, a challenge remained in strengthening practical capabilities to translate plans into executable projects and connect them to outcome creation.

This training program, in addition to conventional skill acquisition, implements a practical program that consistently supports participants from setting DX themes based on management issues, to formulating implementation plans, and to verifying and completing them in actual work. Through this, we aim to establish advanced practical capabilities that drive DX across the entire group, fostering human resources who can lead business process transformation and create new customer value.

This program targets 12 group company employees selected through assessments, etc., and consists of two stages: a "Learning Phase" and a "Practical Phase." The Learning Phase will be conducted with the cooperation of Ballista Inc. (Note 4), where participants will set DX planning themes linked to management issues and formulate implementation plans. In the Practical Phase, based on the formulated plans, participants will work on executing, verifying, and completing DX measures in their actual work.

This initiative complies with the "Business Architect" category of the Digital Skill Standards (Note 2) set by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. By developing human resources who can consistently handle everything from conceptualization to execution and completion, we will promote DX planning in transformation areas that go beyond mere operational improvements.

Moving forward, our company will continue to strengthen its management foundation of "human resources" and "DX" for business structure transformation and new growth, leading to further enhancement of the Sapporo Group's overall corporate value and the driving force of its medium-term management plan (Note 5).
