Thailand's first premium single malt whisky, PRAKAAN

Thailand's first premium single malt whisky "PRAKAAN" will exhibit for the first time at the "26th Thai Festival Tokyo" to be held at Yoyogi Park, Tokyo, from May 9th to 10th.

"Thai Festival Tokyo" is one of Japan's largest Thai culture events, attracting more than 250,000 visitors last year. In addition to popular T-pop artists and actors visiting Japan, the event is popular for enjoying rich food culture including Thai cuisine. While beer is widely known in Thai alcohol culture, attention has recently begun to focus on whisky. PRAKAAN will set up a booth as a brand to introduce this new Thai whisky culture and liven up the event.

PRAKAAN has won the category winner in the Non-Age Statement category for two consecutive years at the world-renowned competition "World Whiskies Awards 2026 (WWA)".

At this "Thai Festival Tokyo," a booth is planned where these award-winning "Tribura Series" products can be enjoyed at special prices. Also, special presents will be available for purchasers on a first-come, first-served basis.

About PRAKAAN
Distillery in the Ancient City of Kamphaeng Phet

PRAKAAN is Thailand's first authentic premium single malt produced by Thai Beverage. The brand name is derived from the "walls" of the ancient city of Kamphaeng Phet. Its character comes from the rich natural environment adjacent to a World Heritage site and pure spring water filtered through rock layers 200–400m underground.

The most prominent feature is a unique underground maturation system that transforms tropical natural energy into terroir. By accelerating maturation in a stable environment 3–4m underground, it draws out a heavy richness and tropical aroma in a short period. Based on the philosophy of using "liquid maturity" rather than numerical years as the standard for bottling, the flagship "Tribura Series (43% ABV)," paying homage to the triple city walls, is being developed.

Category Winner in the Non-Age Statement category at the World Whiskies Awards 2026 (WWA) for two consecutive years.
