Kofu Craft Beer Fest 2026 to be Held
The Kofu Craft Beer Fest 2026 will be held from July 24 to August 2, 2026, at Kofu Station North Exit Plaza. This summer tradition brings together 16 craft breweries from Yamanashi and other prefectures, local food, and live performances.

Yamanashi is known as the Kingdom of Wine, but did you know that Kofu has been producing local beer since the Meiji Restoration (the first commercial domestic beer in Eastern Japan in 1874)? In front of the station in such a town, local beer and local gourmet food gather. It's a 10-day event where you can experience the deliciousness of Yamanashi all at once.
To drink beer and other alcoholic beverages, you can purchase an original glass (small or medium) or enjoy it in a large glass provided by each brewery (glass deposit 1,000 yen). For those who want to try a little of each, the small glass (800 yen) and tasting tickets (4 tickets for 1,000 yen) are recommended. These tasting tickets offer discounts for kimono wearers and students (200 yen each! *Students under 20 cannot purchase even with student discount), making them perfect for craft beer beginners.
Previously purchased original glasses (small, medium) can also be used!
