The event "Minna de Shakitto DAY! ~Shukatsu Happy Ending," where families can consider end-of-life planning, will be held on the 29th at the Minami Alps Togen Cultural Hall. This is the second time the event has been held, following last October, and is a related event to the Yamanashi Health Project's "Shakitto" health newspaper published in the Yamanashi Nichinichi Shimbun. Companies and organizations involved in end-of-life planning and health fields will set up booths. There will be seminars where experts explain the procedures for end-of-life planning, and an introduction to a service by Maruai (Ichikawamisato), a paper product manufacturer, which stores letters and gifts and delivers them to the recipient at the date and time requested by the client. There will also be a free photo session for memorial portraits by a photographer, a public recording of a special YBS Radio program, and a lottery where participants can win prizes such as Yamanashi-produced rice and brain check-up vouchers. The event will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No prior registration is required, and participation is free. For inquiries, please contact the Yamanashi Nichinichi Shimbun Media Planning Bureau at 055 (231) 3131 (weekdays 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
