Sankou Gakuen Beauty Art & Beauty & Wedding Vocational Schools × Yeonsung University: Credit Transfer Program for Graduates to Transfer to Yeonsung University

On June 8, 2026, Sankou Gakuen Beauty Art Vocational School and Beauty & Wedding Vocational School held a signing ceremony for the 'Agreement on Credit Transfer and Transfer Admission System' to further strengthen educational collaboration with Yeonsung University in South Korea.

A visiting delegation of four members, including President Min-Hee Kwon of Yeonsung University, visited the school to observe the latest beauty training facilities and ongoing classes. They gained deeper insight into Japanese beauty education by witnessing students' proactive learning attitudes and the practical educational environment.

At the subsequent signing ceremony, representatives from both institutions signed the agreement on credit transfer and transfer admission. With this partnership, students from Sankou Gakuen's nationwide Beauty Art and Beauty & Wedding Vocational Schools can now aim to transfer to Yeonsung University using credits earned during their studies, significantly expanding their options for international education and career development.

In addition, the delegation visited related facilities operated by Sankou Gakuen, including Asuka Mirai High School, a correspondence high school. Beyond beauty education, they deepened their understanding of Japan's overall education system and discussed possibilities for broader educational exchanges in the future.

President Min-Hee Kwon of Yeonsung University stated, 'I am very pleased that this partnership has created an environment where motivated Japanese students can learn Korean beauty techniques and deepen their expertise. I look forward to meeting you all at the forefront of K-Beauty.'

This program will be implemented starting with students expected to graduate in March 2027. Sankou Gakuen will continue to promote international collaboration with overseas educational institutions to enrich global education opportunities for each student.

## Program Overview

A formal credit transfer and transfer admission system will launch for students graduating in March 2027, allowing credits earned at Sankou Gakuen Beauty Art and Beauty & Wedding Vocational Schools to be recognized by Yeonsung University in South Korea. This creates an unprecedented academic pathway where students can build on their vocational school education to further specialize in beauty at a Korean university.

## Tuition Reduction System

Alongside the launch of this program, a special tuition reduction system for Sankou Gakuen graduates will also begin.

Students can receive tuition reductions of 30% to a maximum of 70% based on their level achieved in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK). (Applicable at enrollment and per semester)

## Transfer and Advancement Routes

Students can transfer from our schools to the Associate Degree Program in 'Beauty Stylist' at Yeonsung University in South Korea.

This department offers specialized tracks in 'Hair Design,' 'Makeup,' and 'Skincare,' allowing students to deeply specialize in their chosen field.

■ Academic Models

- After graduating from Beauty Art or Beauty & Wedding Vocational School, transfer to the second year at Yeonsung University and earn an Associate Degree (Specialist Degree)

- After graduating from Beauty Art or Beauty & Wedding Vocational School, transfer to the second year at Yeonsung University, then advance to the third and fourth years to earn a Bachelor's Degree

## Enrollment Timing and Language Preparation

Students can choose between March or September enrollment.

Those with sufficient Korean language proficiency to understand lectures immediately after graduation may enroll in March. For those who wish to improve their Korean skills after graduation before moving to Korea, September enrollment (followed by March advancement) is available, allowing them to prepare at their own pace.

Language requirements: TOPIK Level 2 is required at the time of admission screening, and students must achieve TOPIK Level 3 during their studies. TOPIK Level 4 is recommended for full comprehension of lectures.
