San-X Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce the release of 'Rilakkuma Goyururi Skinship Ehon: Touch-Touch Rilakkuma,' a picture book for children aged 0-3 designed to encourage skinship with Rilakkuma and his friends. The book will be published by KADOKAWA Corporation on June 3, 2026 (Wed). Pre-orders are currently being accepted at bookstores and online stores nationwide. This book was created with the hope that it will be a fun time for babies and a relaxing break for parents amidst their busy childcare routines. Supervised by Professor Hajime Yamaguchi of Obirin University, a leading expert in 'Touch Studies,' the book aims to scientifically promote development and attachment through physical contact. The book features high-contrast colors to capture the attention of infants and uses rhythmic, repetitive language to make reading an engaging experience for both parent and child.
