『kiitos.』 will host its produced wellness event 'Let's Rest Well. Exhibition' for two days on July 11 (Sat) and July 12 (Sun), based at 'ADRIFT' in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.

Through its magazine, 『kiitos.』 has shared hints for self-care and balance, using keywords such as 'rest,' 'nourishment,' 'five senses,' and 'harmonizing.'

While opportunities to learn about nutrition and exercise are available, surprisingly little is known about 'resting.' Many people, leading busy lives, find themselves thinking, 'Even though I feel like I rested well, my fatigue hasn't gone away,' or 'I feel guilty about resting.'

When we think of 'resting,' we might first think of taking a break or sleeping. However, moving your body, immersing yourself in hobbies or 'oshi-katsu' (activities related to one's favorite idol or character), and talking with someone are also important forms of 'rest.'

Furthermore, the form of 'rest' varies from person to person. We believe that the first step to achieving ideal days, both mentally and physically, is to understand how to rest in a way that suits you.

'Let's Rest Well. Exhibition' will offer time and space to learn about, experience, and take home insights on 'rest.'

It's Not Just About Sleeping! Do You Know the '7 Types of Rest'?

The event will be centered around the '7 Types of Rest' advocated by Dr. Hideki Katano, a medical doctor and representative director of the Japan Recovery Association. The '7 Types of Rest' is a concept that views rest from seven perspectives: 'Rest,' 'Exercise,' 'Nutrition,' 'Socializing,' 'Recreation,' 'Creation,' and 'Change.'

At the venue, we will have items and workshops related to each type of rest. We will re-examine 'rest' from various angles. 'What type of rest is my current self lacking?' 'What kind of activities used to energize me?' Please wander through the venue while contemplating these questions.

The Venue: A Comfortable Space Creating New Culture in Shimokitazawa

Based at 'ADRIFT,' adjacent to the commercial complex 'reload'—a sophisticated yet green space designed for relaxed exploration—and also featuring original content at the nearby 'reload ENTRANCE HALL.' You can fully enjoy experiences that will relax your mind and body while strolling through the streets of Shimokitazawa.
