For those who want more than just camping: Walk, play, stay – a new way to enjoy.

The hiking event 'GO OUT SUPER HIKING JAPAN “PRIVATE SESSION”,' organized by the outdoor fashion magazine GO OUT, is set to take place over two days on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, 2026. The route stretches from Lake Shojiko to Lake Saiko in Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Yamanashi Prefecture.

Step out from the city with a tent on your back, and your adventure begins. No special skills or speed are required. Just walk at your own pace, rest when tired, and enjoy the nature and satoyama scenery. Sleep in a tent at night and start walking again in the morning. We call this free 'walking journey' 'SUPER HIKING.'

Following the great response to the first 'GO OUT SUPER HIKING JAPAN,' which hosted about 300 people, this second edition is titled 'PRIVATE SESSION.' We have shifted towards a small-group, limited-capacity event by significantly reducing the number of participants. While maintaining the basic style of walking with a tent, the design brings participants closer to each other and to nature. It is a special two-day experience where you can savor your time in nature rather than just consuming it.

Leave the crowds behind, stop, breathe deeply, and feel nature with all five senses. We provide a dense experience of these seemingly ordinary but luxurious moments. We welcome mountain lovers, those who want to try hiking, people looking for new outdoor friends, and anyone interested in a new kind of event.

2 DAYS set in the Saiko area.
The stage is the Saiko area at the foot of Mt. Fuji. While offering good access from the city center, once you step into the field, you are greeted by rich forests, quiet lakes, and the magnificent scenery of Mt. Fuji.
Day 1 starts around Lake Shojiko, goes through the Aokigahara forest, includes cave exploration at Narusawa Ice Cave, and light hiking to Koyodai. Day 2 is a relaxing course from 'PICA Fujisaiko' to 'Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba.' The route is designed with gentle trails, viewpoints that make you want to stop, and extra time to enjoy conversations with friends.

Content revealed one after another!
At the night's campsite, 'PICA Fujisaiko,' we have cultural content that can be enjoyed in an intimate setting unique to a small group. This includes acoustic lives by popular artists, talk shows by experts that feel like classes, and workshops by participating brands. GO OUT's style ensures it's more than just walking.

Artists revealed!
Two artists will appear for the acoustic live: 'CHAN-MIKA,' known for her warm husky voice and funky performance, and 'Hirota Uta,' who loves blues and soul with a unique singing style.
