DOX FIELD to Open 'Northland,' an All-Breed & Rescue-Friendly Dog Park in Futtsu, Chiba on June 27, 2026

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, DOX FIELD (operated by SaMRec. Co., Ltd.), which currently runs the Italian Greyhound-exclusive facility "DOX FIELD Southern Valley" in Futtsu, Chiba, will launch its new area, "DOX FIELD Northland."

While "DOX FIELD Southern Valley" has been operated as a private facility (membership dog run, dog hotel, and villa plot services) catering specifically to the sensitive Italian Greyhound breed, "Northland" was born from this experience. It is designed as a new, independent outdoor field where all dogs and their owners can spend time together in nature, regardless of breed or history.

"Rescue-Friendly" Design Philosophy Our concept of "rescue-friendly" goes beyond welcoming rescued dogs; it means designing the physical environment based on the common behaviors and anxiety levels of these dogs. Rescued dogs are often socialized in urban or residential areas filled with traffic, noise, and sudden contact, causing constant stress. At Northland, we prioritize creating a calm environment where dogs can regain peace at their own pace. The facility offers ample space to choose distances, a natural environment with hiding spots, layouts that prevent sudden encounters, and quiet zones. This low-stimulus space is also ideal for family dogs to relax.

Support for Rescue Dogs - Discounted admission fees for former rescue dogs compared to general dogs. - Donation of a portion of sales to animal rescue organizations. - Plans to host socialization events for rescue dogs and meetup events for adopted dogs.

Facility Features - A spacious field of approximately 2,000 tsubo (approx. 6,600 sqm) leveraging the natural landscape. - Safety secured with 1,800mm high fences topped with a 450mm inward curve. - Double-gate systems at entry points to prevent accidental escapes. - Shady, quiet areas utilizing natural tree canopies for walking and calming.
