At the booth, the company distributed sample packs of three sticks of the vitamin C supplement 'My Cee White Plus' to the first 1,000 visitors, and also conducted a tasting session for My Cee White Plus.

Furthermore, a taste survey was conducted among 657 people who tasted the product on the spot, with 98.5% of respondents answering that it was 'delicious.'

Background of the Exhibition

The 'Pink Full Day' initiative, which emphasizes 'paying attention to one's own body,' aligns with the My Cee brand's concept of 'delivering beauty and health, to a radiant me 10 years from now.'

The company decided to exhibit because they believed it was meaningful to promote 'inner care' through vitamin C supplements on this day when awareness of health naturally increases through the Pink Ribbon movement.

Additionally, for a brand primarily focused on mail-order sales, opportunities to see customers' immediate facial expressions and hear their instant reactions after consuming the product are limited. A major objective of this exhibition was to gather direct customer feedback to utilize in future improvements and product development.

1,000 Sample Sets Distributed in About 2 Hours

My Cee White Plus is a grapefruit-flavored granule stick-type supplement that can be taken directly without water.

The 1,000 sets prepared by the company (3-stick packs of My Cee White Plus) were completely distributed in about 2 hours.

Initially, the company expected to distribute half (500 sets) from 3:30 PM to the game start at 6:00 PM, and finish distributing all sets by around 9:00 PM after the 7th inning.

However, in reality, all sets were distributed within 2 hours of the start of distribution.

Behind the positive response at this tasting event is the development team's process of creating the taste, which involved over 10 prototypes in collaboration with the raw material company.

The Main Reason Supplements Are 'Not Continued' Is Forgetting to Take Them

In supplement development, ingredients and amounts are important, but 'taste' is indispensable.

Many people cite 'forgetting to take them' as the reason they can't maintain a supplement habit.

However, behind the forgetfulness lies a cycle: 'I don't feel like taking it (because it doesn't taste good) -> I put it off -> I forget about it.'

In other words, if you want to take it, you won't forget. The reason the My Cee White Plus development team was so particular about taste is based on the idea that 'deliciousness equals habituation.'

The Discarded Prototypes – A Battle Against Sourness and Bitterness

My Cee White Plus contains several plant-derived ingredients known for their beauty and health benefits, including liposomal vitamin C, white tomato extract, pomegranate extract, grape seed extract, melon placenta extract, and pineapple fruit extract.

However, there was a hurdle: ingredients that are good for beauty and health tend to have 'strong taste quirks.'

In early prototypes, the unique astringency and bitterness from pomegranate and grape seed-derived components were too prominent, leading to repeated feedback from in-house monitors that 'it tastes like it's good for you, but I couldn't drink it every day.'

In another prototype, the sourness was too strong, leading to comments like 'it's too sour to drink.'

The biggest challenge in development was achieving both goals: not compromising on the ingredient amounts while creating a taste that makes you 'want to drink it like a snack.'

To overcome this challenge, the development team worked closely with the raw material company, repeating the adjustment of ingredient balance and flavor over 10 times to perfect the current grapefruit flavor.

On the day of Pink Full Day, representatives from the raw material company who collaborated on the taste development of My Cee White Plus also participated in running the tasting event.

The representative from the manufacturing company commented on the event as follows:
