EdgeConnect Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Directors: Kazuki Kurahashi / Ryo Maki; hereinafter "EdgeConnect"), a member company of the Software Association of Japan (SAJ), announced in March 2026 that it is developing "Asyca," a project revenue and expenditure management system that can centrally manage sales, profits, invoicing, payment schedules, and progress for each project. The system aims to solve the structural problem of individual-dependent management using spreadsheets, which is common among IT companies with continuous projects such as contract development and maintenance operations.
Overview of "Asyca," a Project Revenue and Expenditure Management System, Under Development
EdgeConnect is promoting the development of "Asyca," a system that can centrally manage project progress, sales forecasts, and invoicing status. It provides a management foundation rooted in practical operations to address the common challenge faced by many IT companies where "initially assumed budgets," "current forecasts," and "confirmed values" are mixed, making it difficult to identify the causes of discrepancies.
Main Features
・ Separate management of budgets, forecasts, and actuals allows for managing forecasts and confirmed actuals separately for each project while retaining the budget from the proposal stage, making it easier to identify the causes of discrepancies.
・ Monthly summary display allows checking monthly sales and profit trends based on invoice dates and scheduled payment dates. Display by business unit and person in charge is also under consideration.
・ Dashboard design achieves a screen that allows smooth tracking from monthly totals to individual project details.
・ Reduced input burden by pursuing ease of use for daily operations, such as project duplication, copying previous month's data, and bulk updates.
・ Alert function automatically notifies of unpaid amounts, scheduled payments, unconfirmed documents, and stalled work.
In the future, functions will be gradually improved through internal use and verification, and preparations for official provision will proceed. Details on the provision period, fees, and target plans will be announced once decided.
The Person and Vision Supporting This Development from the Field—Bridge SE Kosaki Aoki
Supporting this development as a bridge between customers and engineers is Bridge SE Kosaki Aoki. She consistently leads projects from requirements organization to progress management.
"Even if project management is in place, I feel that not many companies can grasp the revenue and expenditure, forecasts, and invoicing/payment schedules for each project in a single flow. With Asyca, we aim to create a system that is easy for the field to use and allows managers to make decisions on a monthly basis."
After graduating from a biology university, she transitioned to the IT industry through job hunting. A business automation tool she created in her first year became her original motivation to "create systems that help people," and she is now active from Gunma Prefecture, working full-remote while raising two children. Her attitude of directly addressing on-site issues that arise as departmental optimization progresses and promoting product development useful for practical work has made her a new role model for IT engineers who can shine even while living in rural areas and raising children.
