Full Launch of AI Agent Business: Exclusive Silicon Valley Tie-up x Trial Implementation at a Major Domestic Telecommunications Carrier
Overview
In the Japanese IT industry, the dual challenges of a chronic shortage of engineers and a delay in AI implementation are becoming increasingly severe. To overcome this situation, Gigooo Inc. concluded an exclusive contract, the first in Japan, with a Silicon Valley technology company. Based on this partnership, the company has started rolling out AI agent tools in the domestic market.
This tool is not merely for business automation; its purpose is to realize an environment where people can focus on more creative work. Currently, a trial implementation (demonstration phase) is underway at a major domestic telecommunications carrier.
Key Features
- Rolling out cutting-edge AI agent tools to the domestic market through Japan's first exclusive contract with a Silicon Valley company.
- Going beyond simple task automation to create an environment where human resources can focus on creative tasks.
- Approximately 130 in-house engineers visit client sites directly, handling everything from organizing issues to co-designing optimal efficiency and improvement plans. Combining proposal capabilities with implementation skills is a major differentiator from competitors.
Simultaneous Rollout of 3 New Businesses: Comprehensively Addressing DX and HR Challenges of Japanese Companies
In addition to the SES and AI businesses, the following three businesses have been newly launched.
1. Recruitment Support Business: Providing external companies with the know-how the company has cultivated by hiring only experienced engineers. As a service that supports the recruitment capability itself for companies struggling to hire engineers, it already has a track record of assisting multiple companies.
2. AI Training Business: Launching a training service that provides business improvement and AI implementation support, primarily targeting the manufacturing and construction industries. It backs the promotion of DX at the field level.
3. DX Consulting Support: Working in tandem with AI training, it rolls out consulting services that cover everything from hearing issues to formulating and executing improvement plans. This field-rooted support structure differentiates it from traditional major consulting firms.
In parallel with the launch of these three businesses, the company has been stably hiring 5 to 10 experienced engineers every month, and both the SES and new businesses are on a steady growth trajectory in terms of sales.
The People and Passion Supporting This Growth from the Ground Up: Haruka Kubo, General Manager of Sales
Standing at the forefront of this rapid business expansion is Haruka Kubo, General Manager of Sales.
Born in Mie Prefecture. After studying design in high school, she worked in sales at a car dealership for about 6 years. Before turning 30, she studied abroad on a working holiday, and upon returning to Japan, she joined Gigooo in February 2024 despite having no experience in the IT industry. Just one year later, in January 2025, she was appointed General Manager of Sales.
"I believe that AI education starts with 'just trying it out' rather than 'teaching difficult concepts.' I want to root a 'culture of taking on challenges' like in Silicon Valley here in Japan, while practicing it ourselves."
Through interactions with companies in Silicon Valley, Kubo has experienced the culture of "testing small and improving." As the General Manager of Sales, she says what she values most is enhancing employees' "sense of belonging." She continues to hold internal events at least once a month, turning the "accumulation of thank-yous" into the driving force of the organization.
