Sagri Co., Ltd. Selected for "SusHi Tech Global Startups"

Sagri Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tanba City, Hyogo Prefecture; Representative Director: Shunsuke Tsuboi; hereinafter "the Company"), an impact startup utilizing satellite data and AI to solve agricultural and environmental challenges, is pleased to announce its selection as one of the companies for "SusHi Tech Global Startups" promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

## ■ Initiatives of "SusHi Tech Global"
This initiative aims to form a group of 100 to 150 startups, "SusHi Tech Global Startups," that are tackling the realization of a sustainable society, and to support their global growth. Programs tailored to each company's challenges, such as human resources and organizational structure, business and capital strategies, will be sequentially developed. For particularly promising companies, a "Growth Acceleration Program" that includes financial support and customized accompaniment support will also be implemented.

## ■ About the Selection for "SusHi Tech Global Startups"
In this project, comprehensive support from both the public and private sectors will be provided to certified startups that meet stringent requirements (such as fundraising achievements, strong will for global expansion, and possession of sustainable technology) and have passed the screening by external experts. The Company's unique technology, which utilizes satellite data and AI, was highly evaluated as "technology that contributes to the realization of a sustainable society," leading to this selection.

Sagri Co., Ltd. is an impact startup originating from Gifu University, founded in Hyogo Prefecture in 2018, with the vision of "realizing coexistence between humanity and Earth." Focusing on satellite data analysis technology using AI, the company aims to achieve sustainable agriculture and solve global environmental issues. It provides services such as "Actaba," an agricultural land patrol app that detects abandoned farmland; "Detaba," a crop planting survey app that identifies crop types; "Ninatawa," which matches farmland owners with farmers and successors; and "SagriVision," a decarbonization calculation digital product that supports carbon traceability in agricultural land.

In 2023, it was adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the "SME Innovation Creation Promotion Project (SBIR)" under the second supplementary budget of Reiwa 4. It won the Catapult Grand Prix at "ICC Summit KYOTO 2023." It was selected for "J-Startup" and "J-startup Impact" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. In 2024, it completed a Series A fundraising round of approximately 1 billion yen. It received the Prime Minister's Award at the 6th Space Development and Utilization Awards.
