Sagamiko Farm Co., Ltd. (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) opened the experiential farm "Sagamiko Berry Garden" in 2023, where visitors can enjoy picking 36 varieties and 1,100 blueberry bushes in the rich natural farmlands of the Tsukui area of Sagamihara City.

This farm, which attracts 3,000 visitors annually, has regenerated abandoned farmland and was the first in Sagamihara to introduce "solar sharing," which simultaneously achieves agriculture and energy production. Its efforts have been highly praised and have received numerous awards.

In particular, the demand for group use has been increasing and is well-received. This time, we are releasing a special plan for companies and organizations, limited to the blueberry picking season from June to September. We hope you will take advantage of this recreational activity, which also includes educational elements.

At our farm, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat blueberries from 36 varieties and 1,100 bushes, one of the largest in the Kanto region. There are also rare varieties not found in the market and extra-large blueberries the size of a 500-yen coin.

Large blueberries the size of a 500-yen coin are also available (seasonal/limited varieties)
Group usage is increasing

Thanks to our solar sharing design, with solar panels installed approximately 3 meters above the farmland, you can comfortably enjoy blueberry picking even during recent heatwaves.

Blueberry picking is available for ages 1 and up, and we welcome various groups (due to the natural environment, barrier-free access is not provided).

Our experience menu also includes blueberry smoothie making, shaved ice, and blueberry tart making. Especially for group customers, we offer group discounts and a free campaign for organizers (for groups of 9 or more, reservations by May 31).

Furthermore, we raise 100,000 bees, contributing to blueberry pollination. The raw honey harvested at the farm is a popular product, offering different flavors depending on the season.

Access from the Tokyo metropolitan area is excellent, located 15 minutes from Sagamihara IC and 20 minutes from Sagamiko IC. We also accommodate parking for large buses, so please feel free to visit.

Please come and experience firsthand our pioneering initiatives in regional revitalization and social business, including our solar sharing efforts. Please inquire for all plans and details (reservations required).

Participant Voices

・Thanks to the solar panels, I was able to pick blueberries in partial shade. With 2 hours, there's plenty of time to eat. The honey from the bees used for blueberry pollination was also delicious. There are also mini panels for children's environmental learning and shaded resting areas, so I think it's great for families with children. I want to go again.

・I visited with several first-graders. They were able to enjoy various things flexibly so that the children could have fun, and both adults and children were satisfied. There are many varieties of blueberries, and it's fun to find your favorite!

・I indulged in blueberries. The garden was spacious, and even though it was a scorching hot day, there were solar power generation panels above the blueberry pots, providing moderate shade, making blueberry picking relatively easy and enjoyable. I enjoyed about 10 varieties of blueberries. Personally, I like the tart Elizabeth. You get full from blueberry picking, but surprisingly, you can still eat tart. It was hot, so I drank the smoothie in one gulp.
