On Sunday, April 5th, the second day of the opening,
Tetsuya Shiozaki, a legendary OB of the Seibu Lions, will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

Tetsuya Shiozaki
Joined Seibu Lions in 1990.
As a tough right-handed pitcher who mastered the sinker, he contributed to the Lions' success and supported their golden era.
Currently serves as a Senior Advisor for Saitama Seibu Lions.

Saga Prefecture's first professional baseball team, based in Takeo City and Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture.
It is a rare professional baseball team in the world, composed mainly of representative players from developing baseball nations in Asia.
For the 2026 season, its third year,
players from 8 countries and regions—Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Pakistan, India, South Korea, Guam, and Japan—will gather in Saga.
They are working to improve their baseball skills while living together, overcoming language and cultural barriers.
From 2025, an agricultural project utilizing abandoned cultivated land in the region will also begin.
