Safie Inc., the No. 1 cloud recording service provider (※1) (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo: Representative Director President CEO Ryuhei Sadoshima, hereinafter "Safie"), and Ailytics Pte Ltd., a Singapore-based startup that develops and provides video AI analytics (Singapore headquarters: Representative Director President CEO Tan Wei Zhuang, hereinafter "Ailytics"), have agreed to a strategic business alliance aimed at improving safety management at construction and manufacturing sites. In conjunction with this, a signing ceremony for the strategic partnership was held on April 28, 2026, at "SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026," Asia's largest global innovation conference, taking place at Tokyo Big Sight.

Background of this Alliance

Globally, industrial accidents remain a serious issue, with approximately 2.93 million fatalities and over 395 million injuries reported annually (※2). In Japan, while the number of fatalities in industrial accidents is trending downward according to the Reiwa 6 (2024) labor accident situation (※3), the number of injuries has increased for four consecutive years, indicating that the situation remains critical.

Meanwhile, at domestic construction and manufacturing sites facing severe labor shortages, continuously monitoring vast amounts of camera footage for safety management has reached its limits from a resource perspective. As human visual inspection reaches its capacity, there is a rapidly growing demand for AI and technology-driven solutions for "automatic anomaly detection" and "reduction of unsafe behaviors."

Overview of this Alliance

Safie's vision is "Creating the future from video." The company has developed and operates the cloud-based video platform "Safie," providing various solutions such as remote situation confirmation, operational efficiency improvement, and AI-based anomaly detection and prediction using video data. It is estimated that by 2040, the labor force will decrease to 80% of its current level (※4). To overcome this severe labor shortage, Safie is promoting "Genba AX (AI Transformation)" to empower on-site decision-making and workers, thereby reconstructing a sustainable industrial foundation.

On the other hand, Ailytics, a Singaporean startup, supports the improvement of safety and maximization of productivity in the construction and manufacturing industries through video AI analytics technology. By leveraging their advanced AI solutions based on extensive training data, site managers can efficiently evaluate partner companies, track progress, and address unsafe behaviors, leading to an overall improvement in the quality of safety management across the organization. Currently, with the backing of Singapore government subsidies and a strong partner network, their adoption is expanding. Starting from Asia, they continue to transform industrial sites worldwide into safer and smarter spaces.

Through this alliance, we will integrate Safie's cloud recording platform and devices with Ailytics' video AI analytics technology to promote Genba AX and accelerate the adoption of "Unsafe Behavior Detection AI" to solve safety management challenges at construction and manufacturing sites. Specifically, we will conduct pilot introductions and PoC validations to build and provide real-time "detection and alert" and "post-incident review" workflows that overcome the limitations of visual inspection and reactive responses. In the future, leveraging Ailytics' rapidly growing customer base in Southeast Asia, Safie will accelerate its global expansion. Through the collaboration of both companies, from Asia to the world, we will popularize next-generation general-purpose AI solutions and change the way industrial sites operate globally.
