SABON’s Minty Spark Yuzu Collection Afternoon Tea to Launch at Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo

Natural cosmetics brand SABON will partner with Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo to offer the limited-time “Minty Spark Yuzu Cooling Afternoon Tea,” inspired by SABON’s summer-only Minty Spark Yuzu Collection, from June 11 to August 31, 2026, at District Brasserie, Bar & Lounge. The collection features a “sparkling harmony” fragrance that blends refreshing peppermint with soothing yuzu, layered with crisp herbs and sensual musk for a mature, genderless summer scent. Since its debut in 2022, the limited summer collection has sold more than 530,000 items. The collaboration was born from the Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo chefs’ inspiration from the world and depth of SABON’s Minty Spark Yuzu fragrance. Pastry chef Yohei Arimoto and head chef Yuho Hozumi created a menu using selected fruits and botanical herbs, including seven sweets, three savory items, and premium-plan exclusives such as white chocolate mousse with yuzu mint jelly and a yuzu mint blanche drink. The savory lineup includes creative dishes such as sea bream carpaccio with a “Minty Spark Yuzu salt scrub,” inspired by SABON’s iconic body scrub. The afternoon tea is served in a 120-minute format from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with final entry at 3:00 p.m. Reservations must be made online by 4:00 p.m. the previous day. The standard plan is priced at ¥7,000 on weekdays and ¥7,800 on weekends and holidays, while the premium plan is ¥9,800 on weekdays and ¥10,600 on weekends and holidays. Prices include tax, with a separate 15% service charge. Guests who enjoy the afternoon tea will receive a special SABON gift, including sample sachets of Refreshing Head Scrub and Sparkling Yuzu Body Scrub, plus a Special Gift Ticket. Customers who purchase at least one item worth ¥550 or more at eligible SABON stores in the Kanto area will also receive a 100 mL Sparkling Yuzu Shower Oil while supplies last. During the campaign period, customers shopping at SABON Lumine Shinjuku will receive a special ticket allowing them to reserve the afternoon tea at 10% off.
