Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo / President and Representative Director Satoru Shimizu), which operates MUJI, will hold 'GOOD POINT WEEK' (*2) for the first time from April 29 (Wed) to May 6 (Wed). This limited-time initiative, conducted through MUJI's membership program 'MUJI GOOD PROGRAM' (*1), will offer 5 times the usual points.

To realize a 'pleasant life and society,' Ryohin Keikaku aims to organize and enrich daily life based on the value that 'simplicity does not feel inferior to luxury,' offering various products and services.

'MUJI GOOD PROGRAM' is a membership program where points are accumulated through daily shopping and the use of MUJI services. These points can be used not only for purchasing products but also for donations to organizations tackling various social issues. In September of last year, the traditional system was renewed to allow customers to choose how they use their points, rather than restricting them to a single use. One of the characteristics of this program is that daily choices seamlessly connect to engagement with society and the local community.

'GOOD POINT WEEK' is positioned as an opportunity for customers to more closely experience the concept and mechanism of the 'MUJI GOOD PROGRAM'. It allows them to experience a cycle where good actions 'for oneself, for someone else, and for society' are rewarded with points, which then lead to the next positive action. During this period, MUJI member customers will be awarded 5 times the usual points (*3) for the 'MUJI GOOD PROGRAM'.

Points are awarded not only for shopping but also according to daily usage, such as participating in resource collection—part of ReMUJI (MUJI's resource circulation initiative)—or bringing your own bag. The accumulated points can be used not only for product purchases but also in the form of donations. This provides an opportunity for customers to engage with choices that suit their lifestyles as an extension of their daily shopping.
