Vote for the Most Relatable Verse: General Voting for the 'Back-office Senryu' Grand Prize Open Until June 12

RX Japan (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeshi Tanaka) is currently accepting public votes until Friday, June 12, 2026, to decide the Grand Prize winner for its 'Back-office Senryu' project, which captures the genuine feelings and common experiences of those in back-office roles through the 5-7-5 syllable poetry form.

This initiative is organized in conjunction with the 'General Affairs, HR, and Accounting Week' event. It aims to collect senryu that express the daily realizations, struggles, and rewards of staff supporting companies in roles such as general affairs, HR, accounting, legal affairs, and information systems. From 538 submissions nationwide, seven finalists have been selected.

1. Password: I never forget the person who forgot it. 2. Behind the scenes: That is the front stage for general affairs. 3. 'Thank you': A peaceful day is one where you don't hear it. 4. Meeting time: Today's theme is [Reducing meetings]. 5. AI cannot read the room; General Affairs does. 6. Turning pale: Accidentally sending 'unneeded family' in an email. 7. ABW: (A) Your (B) place is (W) unknown.

These pieces capture the reality of daily work and modern working styles with humor, evoking an immediate sense of 'I understand' from anyone in the industry.

Voting is now open on the special website, and anyone can cast a vote for their favorite verse. The verse that garners the most empathy will be named the Grand Prize winner.

The Grand Prize and Jury's Special Awards will be announced at the 'General Affairs, HR, and Accounting Week [Tokyo June]' held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, June 17, to Friday, June 19, 2026.

Back-office work, while often hidden from the public eye, plays a critical role in supporting corporate activities. This project aims to share the thoughts and empathy born from daily life, creating a catalyst to make workers feel a little more positive.
