The "Summer Festival Afternoon Tea," themed around summer festival stalls, will be available for a limited time in August.
The top tier welcomes you with chocolate craftsmanship depicting a squid wearing a headband selling takoyaki against a fireworks backdrop. The "takoyaki," finished with gold chocolate, is paired with a coffee-flavored sauce for a bittersweet accent, while bonito flakes and seaweed flakes are represented by colored chocolate flakes.
Next to it, we offer lemon jelly made to resemble a goldfish bowl. The aroma of hojicha crumble enhances the refreshing acidity, making it a perfect treat for the hot summer. We also have a "Milky Way" yokan with the gentle sweetness of white bean paste and a summery color palette.
The middle tier features sweets that evoke the summer world with playful designs, such as a light, airy confection that melts in your mouth, inspired by super balls floating in a pool, and a verrine of raspberry, white chocolate, and pistachio with a refreshing flavor, modeled after watermelon. We also have a marshmallow reminiscent of chocolate-covered bananas and a tarte au chocolat shaped like a mosquito coil.
The bottom tier offers savory items that capture the atmosphere of festival stalls, including a corn terrine with the savory aroma and sweetness of soy sauce, a classic summer festival frankfurter, and salt-flavored yakitori served on skewers.
On a separate plate, we serve butter-soy sauce flavored french fries and two types of scones: plain and pineapple & coconut with a tropical aroma. We also offer a special discount for customers wearing yukata.
Enjoy an afternoon tea filled with the atmosphere of a summer festival, accompanied by a ramune drink.

"Hyōka Kiwami," shaved ice by the hotel patissier, featuring ice that melts lightly like snow with various flavors and textures, is back again this year.
We offer three popular flavors from last year: "White Peach," "Shine Muscat," and "Matcha Ujikintoki," prepared to enhance the appeal of their ingredients.
For "White Peach," we generously top the delicate ice with carefully composed white peaches and a peach juice-filled sauce, along with rich condensed milk cream. Inside, we hide crispy cookies, diced white peaches, and peach sorbet, offering a progression of textures and aromas as you eat.
"Shine Muscat" combines fresh fruit with a rich fromage blanc cream. Inside, we layer diced Shine Muscat, condensed milk cream, and fromage blanc ice cream for a refreshing and multi-layered flavor.
"Matcha Ujikintoki" is a masterpiece with a delicate balance of matcha's aroma and sweetness. It is adorned with a light, mousse-like matcha espuma and Dainagon azuki beans, with condensed milk cream, kuromitsu (black sugar syrup) an, and matcha ice cream hidden within the ice. Drizzling kuromitsu over it expands the deep, traditional Japanese flavor.
Please enjoy the luxurious flavors woven from fruits and ice, and Japanese ingredients and ice, once again this year.
