The Royal Park Hotel (Location: 2-1-1 Kakigaracho, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Koichi Ozawa) will launch "Kansha no Kaiseki ~Omoi wo Tsumuide~" (Gratitude Kaiseki ~Spinning Thoughts~) for families to spend time on Mother's Day and Father's Day, available for a limited time from May 1, 2026 (Friday) to June 30, 2026 (Tuesday) at the 5F Japanese restaurant "Genjikoh".

At the Japanese restaurant "Genjikoh", in conjunction with Mother's Day and Father's Day, we will offer "Kansha no Kaiseki ~Omoi wo Tsumuide~" with a theme of splendor and gratitude, featuring dishes adorned with mizuhiki and hydrangeas, and auspicious ingredients such as clams and sea bream.

The menu consists of eight dishes, from appetizer to dessert. The number "eight", symbolizing expanding happiness, is reflected in dish names like Takiawase as "Taki-ai" (meaning 'many joys'), Yakimono as "Yaki-mono" (meaning 'joyful items'), and Kinome as "Ki-no-me" (meaning 'buds of joy'), expressing celebratory sentiments.

The Satsuki (May) menu is crafted as a kaiseki to express gratitude to mothers through the blessings of spring to early summer. The appetizer, starting with white asparagus tofu, embodies thoughts of the time spent supporting growth, symbolized by the straight-growing asparagus. This is followed by clam shinjyo soup, imbued with respect for mothers and family bonds, and sea bream usuzukuri, a symbol of celebration. The lotus root mochi arare-age carries the wish for continued good health, represented by the foresight indicated by the holes in the lotus root. It is a kaiseki that envelops feelings, with a gentle taste that lasts until the end.

The Minazuki (June) menu expresses gratitude to fathers, accompanied by the coolness of the season. The Minazuki sesame tofu with red beans carries a wish for "good health and warding off evil," while the fish somen soup reflects a clear flow. Sea bass is prepared for sashimi to invite coolness, and ayu-gyome (sweetfish) is served as yakimono, bringing out its fragrant aroma. Shrimp shinjyo-age, resembling hydrangeas, adds seasonal color, and the finishing cold soba is topped with iced coffee, allowing you to enjoy its slowly melting bitter-sweetness. It is a menu where feelings of gratitude for fathers quietly spread with the lingering taste.
