Aiming to be a beauty salon in Sapporo Maruyama where local residents can visit with peace of mind.

"Rose de CHALON" is a beauty salon that opened at Minami 1-jo Nishi 22-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, a 5-minute walk from Maruyama Koen Subway Station. With bust care as its core, it offers total solutions for skin beauty, slimming, and hair removal, aiming to create a place where local residents can visit with peace of mind. Business hours are 11:00 to 20:00, with the last reception at 18:00.

In the Maruyama area of Sapporo, where a refined lifestyle is deeply rooted, the salon aspires to be a place where visitors feel refreshed and motivated for the next day, not just a place to receive treatments. With such aspirations, it opened as a beauty salon that stays close to the community.

Salon opening born from two experiences: beauty and spatial design.

The owner gained experience in the beauty field in her early twenties, engaging in facial and body treatments at a cosmetics manufacturer. Later, after marriage, she assisted her husband in his interior and architectural design business, spending approximately 20 years involved in store design and construction, including beauty salons and various other salons.

Although she temporarily left the beauty field, continuously engaging with the beauty industry through store development, she harbored a desire to "someday create a salon that embodies our ideals." This time, inspired by meeting two staff members she trusts for their skills and personalities, she decided to open the salon. She herself also began restudying treatments while working on both spatial design and salon operation for the opening.

Soft, healing space designed by the owner herself.

One of the significant features of this salon is that the owner herself drew the blueprints and handled the interior design. In selecting the property, she was particular not only about convenience but also about a calm cityscape and a special location, leading to the opening in the Maruyama area.

The interior is not finished with typical wallpaper but unified with plaster walls throughout. In addition to aesthetic appeal, functionality such as humidity control and deodorization was also considered. The overall space is not a sterile atmosphere based on white but composed of soft color tones, mainly light pink beige. A spacious waiting area has also been secured, with lounge chairs placed to create a calm space for relaxation before and after treatments.

Salon supported by an active model manager and staff from different industries.

Manager Kondo (right in photo), an active model, also teaches beautiful presentation.

Kondo, the manager, has about 5 years of experience in a bust specialty salon and has been active as a model in Hokkaido for about 10 years, appearing in advertisements and commercials. In addition to her beauty expertise, she has a deep understanding of presentation and impression management, valuing attentive customer service and treatments that cater to individual concerns.

Furthermore, staff member Yusa, originally a childcare worker, is new to the beauty industry. By bringing together staff with diverse backgrounds, the salon aims to create a warm and approachable atmosphere for those who might feel a bit nervous about salons or prefer to start with a consultation.
